Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Silverdale, Washington.
Emergency Room (ER) RN – Silverdale, Washington
CommonSpirit St. Michael Medical Center
Shift: 12-hour nights
Weekend Requirement: Based on unit needs
License: Washington or Compact RN License
Experience: Minimum 1 year in a larger trauma setting
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
EMR: Epic
ER Capacity: 56 beds, expandable to 60–70+ with hallway beds
Patient Volume: Approximately 170–200 patients/day
Patient Ratios: 1:3 (high acuity), 1:4 (low acuity)
Services: 6-bed fast track, separate 5-bed triage, 18 designated inpatient holding beds, and 6 private psychiatric treatment rooms
Common Cases: Cardiac, stroke, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, respiratory issues, abdominal pain, and mental health
Orientation: 8–10 hours of compliance training plus 12 hours of department orientation
Holidays: November/December holidays required; manager may consider one of three holidays off based on unit needs
Call: None
Floating: None
Scrubs: Any professional color
Interview: Phone interview with the manager after profile review
Contract Flexibility: Shorter contracts of at least 8 weeks may qualify for a 48-hour weekly guarantee. This does not apply to 13-week contracts.
