Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure, ACLS/PALS certification, and at least 2 years of ER experience.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting within a hospital
  • Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
  • Weekend rotation included in the schedule

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required
  • 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care across a range of patient acuities
  • Max RTO of 7 days per contract
  • Only 1 holiday may be requested off per contract; recognized holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
  • Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the local rate
  • Returning staff/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning
  • Must complete required labs within 3-5 days of contract signing
  • 7-year work history verification required
