Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level I Trauma Center, ensuring high standards of care are met.
• Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization of patients with diverse medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
• Provide care for ventilated patients and manage emergency situations promptly.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current and valid MA RN license.
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is mandatory.
• Strong skills in the care of ventilated patients and the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is preferred.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per department needs.
• Flu vaccination required; exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.
