Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Epic charting system.

Requirements

• Current MA RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an emergency department setting.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Experience with titrating cardiac drips and care of ventilated patients preferred.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, including every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
