Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department in Utica, NY. Submission Requirements:

WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles)
Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department with some pediatric experience.
Documented travel experience is required.
Skills Checklist matching specialty
Driver's license with address that matches demographics
Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC - TNCC IS REQUIRED TO BE IN HAND
NURSYS Report for license verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL RN licenses.
RTO MUST be included at time of submission
EMR Experience Required: EPIC

Job Description:

Unit: Emergency Department

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)

Charge Capability: HIGHLY PREFERRED

Floating Required: Yes

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Unit Specifics:

Common patient diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
Specialty Equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
Number of Beds in the Unit: 64 beds (2 Triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych)

The facility expects that ED nurses provide care to all assigned patients, including SANE.
