Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a high-volume Emergency Department requiring 2 years of ED experience, ACLS/PALS/BLS certification, and a NJ or Compact RN license.
Details
- 13-week assignment in a high-volume Emergency Department
- Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:00)
- Every other weekend and every other holiday (EOW/EOH) required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required among 7 hospitals within skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, OLOL, Camden Satellite, Berlin Satellite)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Block scheduling not permitted
Requirements
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required
- Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months
- High-volume ED experience required
- Trauma and Stroke CEUs required
- Must pass a Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing (PC required, max 2 attempts)
- BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date
- Nursys license verification must be dated within 2 weeks of submission
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
Additional Information
- Provide emergency care across a wide range of adult and pediatric conditions including trauma, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and psychiatric cases
- Perform triage, cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias
- Experience with high-acuity skills such as intubation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation monitoring is valued
- Must be clean shaven prior to fit testing for unit work
- Complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
- RTO must be submitted at time of profile submission; no changes accepted afterward and no RTO within the first week of assignment
- First-time travelers accepted but not preferred
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced local rate
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
