Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department, utilizing their expertise and knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide education to patients and their significant others to promote health and recovery.
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record and maintain compliance with standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Recent acute care hospital experience within the past two years.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS. Certifications don’t need to be active at the time of submission but must be obtained prior to employment.
- Oregon state nursing license is required and should be obtained prior to employment.
Working Conditions
This position involves 12-hour shifts from 3 PM to 3 AM, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend scheduling and on-call requirements will be determined by the facility.
