Job Requirements

• Active Iowa RN license
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
• Prior Emergency Room / Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency department environment

Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care using the nursing process in the emergency room
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Deliver safe, timely, and compassionate care in the Emergency Department
• Direct and guide patient teaching as appropriate
• Collaborate with ancillary personnel and the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes
• Maintain professional nursing standards and follow established clinical protocols
• Support an efficient, patient-centered care environment
