Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position at a Level I Trauma center, requiring MN licensure and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Level I Trauma center Emergency Department serving all patient populations across the life cycle
• Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times of 7am or 7pm
• Weekend coverage required per department rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• ENPC, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with all patient populations required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to specialty required for consideration
• Two supervisory references with employment dates required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients and families across the lifecycle from neonates to older adults
• Develop and revise care plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and delegate activities appropriately
• Participate in shared decision-making and continuous improvement of nursing practice standards
• Royal blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• MN DHS Net Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
• Strict compliance deadline of 4pm the Wednesday before start date with no exceptions
