American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an active MA RN license and Epic charting experience.

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start
• Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
• Knowledge of medical terminology and age-specific patient care
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching required

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for ER patients
• Administer medications, monitor patient reactions, and document vital signs and condition changes
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to modify treatment plans as needed
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
