Description

American Traveler is seeking an ER RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an active MA RN license and Epic charting experience.

Details

  • Work in the Nursing Emergency Department
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
  • Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only)
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
  • Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and age-specific patient care
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift frequently, including lifting 35+ lbs with assistive devices

Additional Information

  • Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document vital signs and clinical changes
  • Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care
  • Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition
  • Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
  • Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility and will receive a reduced rate
  • Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
