Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Room night shift position requiring an active IL RN license, 1 year of ER experience, and TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

Emergency Department setting within a regional hospital system
12-hour night shifts from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM
Weekend rotation required every other or every third weekend
No on-call requirements
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active IL RN license required; IA RN license must be applied for
Compact license not accepted for this position
Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
Current certifications required: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, and de-escalation
Driver's license required for consideration
Work history/resume required for consideration
Skills checklist completed within 1 year required for consideration
License verification required for consideration
One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required at time of consideration
Taxable address must be located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Additional Information

Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Provide direct patient care and management within the Emergency Department
