Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality emergency care for adult patients, coordinating and implementing nursing interventions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on clinical urgency.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess conditions regularly.
- Provide emergency care for various cases, including trauma and medical emergencies.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic technology for patient assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact)
- BLS, ACLS, and valid NIHSS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in an ER setting
- Proficiency in various clinical skills, including IV therapy and cardiac monitoring
- Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory
