• Patient Ratios: 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends

Job Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience within the last 3 years
• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric populations
• Epic charting experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Ability to pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency patients across the lifespan, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Assess, triage, and prioritize care for patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
• Support management of trauma, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and behavioral health emergencies
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, IV teams, radiology, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary support staff
• Float to additional emergency care areas as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Demonstrate readiness to respond in a high-volume, high-acuity emergency department setting
