Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department or Emergency Room RN experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from AHA
• Epic experience required
• Telemetry exam required prior to start
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-moving emergency care environment
• Willingness to float as needed
• Travel nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department serving patients of all ages
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and stabilization for urgent and emergent conditions
• Care for a wide range of cases including trauma, stroke, respiratory distress, cardiac events, behavioral health, and pediatric emergencies
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, ED technicians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, efficient care
• Support patient flow in a high-volume department with exam rooms and vertical care spaces
• Document accurately in Epic and follow facility protocols and evidence-based practices
• Maintain readiness for weekends, holidays, and float assignments as needed
