Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Room position on night shift, requiring active IL licensure and TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Room department of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Every other or every third weekend required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating within the same discipline across local campuses required
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required, must also apply for IA license
  • Compact license not accepted
  • Current certifications required: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, and De-escalation
  • Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
  • Must have taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility
  • One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required

Additional Information

  • Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team providing patient care
  • Block scheduling not approved for this assignment
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may be ineligible
