Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer IV therapy, including blood product administration, central line care, and IV vasopressors.
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator settings for patients with respiratory needs.
• Interpret and manage cardiac monitoring, including dysrhythmias.
• Deliver emergency care for various conditions, including stroke, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, and gunshot wounds.
• Implement isolation precautions and triage patients effectively.
• Utilize EPIC charting system to document patient care accurately.
• Float to other units within the hospital as required, based on skillset.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Active New York Single State RN license.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Strong skills in IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care procedures.
