Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

• Work in a 10-bed Emergency Department treating patients from newborn to geriatric populations
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Paragon EMR
• Blue scrubs dress code

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Compact license not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS (or ENPC in place of PALS), TNCC, and ENPC

Additional Information

• Coordinate total nursing care for ED patients, including patient and family education
• Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and patient care team personnel
• Uphold standards of professional nursing practice as defined by ANA and Michigan Public Health Code
• Candidates within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment
