Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the emergency department.
• Administer IV therapy, including blood product administration and central line care.
• Manage ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP for patients with respiratory needs.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Active New York Single State RN license (pending licenses not accepted).
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Strong skills in phlebotomy, IV vasopressors, and emergency medications.
• Proficiency in managing acute psychosis, neuro-trauma, and spinal cord injuries.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as needed.
