Our client, a leading healthcare facility, is looking for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department to start right away. Located in the vibrant city of Rochester, NY, this opportunity offers a chance to work in a state-of-the-art, 24/7 facility featuring advanced diagnostic technology and specialized services.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients, managing a range of critical conditions.
• Administer IV therapy, including blood products and vasopressors, and manage ventilator and CPAP/BiPAP equipment.
• Perform cardiac monitoring, interpret and manage dysrhythmias, and provide care for neuro-trauma and spinal cord injuries.
• Implement isolation precautions and triage patients effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.

Qualifications

• Active New York Single State RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting with proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• Strong skills in IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency medication administration.
