Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a busy Emergency Department position requiring 18 months of ER experience and GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital environment
• High-volume, very busy ER unit
• AM shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 18 months of ER nursing experience required
• Some trauma experience needed

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston system employees must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday request is allowed per assignment
• Travel-preferred candidates are prioritized for this position
