ER RN – Job Requirements
- Specialty: Emergency Room / ER RN
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Schedule: 3×12s
- Weekend:Every other weekend required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year ED experience in a larger trauma setting
- Certifications:ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS
- License: WA or Compact RN license; willing to wait for license
- EMR:EPIC
- Trauma: ER/Trauma Center
- Patient Ratio:1:3, up to 1:4 for low-acuity patients
- Patient Volume: Approximately 170–200 patients/day
- Patient Population: Cardiac, stroke, sepsis, DKA, AMS, respiratory, abdominal pain, mental health
- Triage: Travelers may be assigned triage after completing a triage test
- Floating: None
- Call/Standby: None
- Holiday: November/December holidays required; manager may consider 1 of 3 holidays depending on unit needs
- RTO: No RTO during the first full week of assignment
- BSN: Not required
- Scrubs: Any professional color
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Interview: Manager will conduct a phone interview
- Duo candidates: Same schedule/shift cannot be accommodated for both candidates
- Orientation: 1 day compliance + 1 day department orientation
Key requirement: Recent ED experience in a larger trauma setting, with all required certifications and EPIC experience.
