Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and an active MI license.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Medicine department providing acute and critical care services
  • Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • Weekend shifts required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

  • Active MI RN license required at time of submission
  • Compact license not accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of RN Emergency Room experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Skills checklist completed within one year of application required for nursing specialties
  • LARA and Nursys license verification required

Additional Information

  • Provide rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and treatment for patients with acute injuries or illnesses
  • Assist physicians during medical interventions in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
  • Grey scrubs required per dress code
  • Local candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced travel rate
  • Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date
  • Maximum of 5 days of RTO may be requested during the assignment
