Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Summary

This role involves working in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) within a state-of-the-art facility that manages over 100,000 visits annually. As one of the country's busiest trauma centers, this facility is recognized as the only Level I trauma center in the area. The registered nurse will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population and assisting with boarder patients.

Working Conditions

• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Rotating shifts (Day, Evening, Night)
• Blocked weekends
• Floating, holidays, and on-call duties as needed

Job Requirements

• Current RN License (New York License ONLY)
• Two (2) years of experience in Emergency Department (ED)
• Telemetry experience is required
• Previous travel experience in a similar role is mandatory

Certifications

• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• NIHSS certification
