Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a compact RN license and night shift availability.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Room department of an acute care hospital
  • 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week over a 13-week contract
  • Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Unexpired driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel positions
  • Any color scrubs permitted except denim, camo, and orange
  • Travelers who previously worked at this facility as permanent staff are not eligible to return in a travel role
  • Travelers who previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
  • Travelers cannot work within the WVU Medicine system for longer than a cumulative year without taking a 2-year break
  • Cancellation policy allows for 2 shifts per 13-week (or longer) contract
