Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care in a dynamic, fast-paced emergency setting. Candidates with a minimum of one year of experience and new travelers are welcome.
Assignment Details
- Shift Details: 12H Nights 19:00 - 07:00
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2214 (negotiable)
- Weekend Coverage: Every Third Weekend
- Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: As Needed and agreed upon
- Medication System: Pyxis
- Documentation System: MediTech
- Communication System: Vocera
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Patient Diagnoses: All types related to ED presentation
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: All standard ED procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide care to neonates through geriatrics in a high-acuity setting
- Conduct interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Administer blood products and IV sedation
- Perform phlebotomy and manage central lines
- Initiate and maintain various emergency department procedures
- Adhere to isolation precautions and procedural sedation administration
Qualifications
Required:
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
- 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- Proficiency in general emergency department functions and management of dysrhythmias
- Skillful in phlebotomy and IV administration
Preferred:
- Experience with MediTech charting system
