Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare facility, is looking for a Registered Nurse - Emergency Department to start right away in New Haven, CT. This role offers a dynamic work environment in a vibrant city known for its cultural and educational opportunities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Cross-train and float between campuses to support patient care needs.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care with an average patient ratio of 1:6.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Radiology.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, including weekend shift make-up requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing training and complete required modules pre-start and annually.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a similar hospital setting.
  • Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS.
  • Experience with Epic charting system and Level I or II Trauma Centers preferred.
