Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is looking for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department to start right away. This opportunity is located in Auburn, NY, a charming city known for its rich history and vibrant community.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize critical-thinking skills to manage a variety of clinical scenarios in the emergency department.
  • Administer and manage IV sedation and vasopressors.
  • Interpret and respond to heart rhythm changes and dysrhythmias.
  • Provide care for critically ill patients, including those with multi-organ issues and ventilated patients.
  • Perform triage and follow isolation precautions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Active state nursing license (NY or compact) with no disciplinary issues.
  • Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS are required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the emergency department.
