Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) |Cookeville, TN
Assignment Overview
Seeking experienced travel Registered Nurses for 13-week assignments in the Emergency Department. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ER at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. 4 positions are available.
Schedule
Start date: 11/16/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Weekends: Must be able to work weekends. There is no set weekend requirement, and the schedule will depend on unit needs and can be worked out with the director.
On call: None
Time off: No requests for time off (RTO) will be approved from 2/08/2027 - 3/31/2027 due to Epic implementation.
Positions available: 4
Responsibilities
Deliver and coordinate patient care for a full range of emergency presentations
Assess, triage and monitor patients and respond to changing conditions
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
Document care accurately in the facility's charting system
May be asked to precept new staff
Requirements
Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
Travel experience required. First-time travelers will not be considered.
BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
Epic experience preferred
