American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.
Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Milwaukie, Oregon
Schedule: Variable evening and night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (14:00-02:30 or 19:00-07:30). Every other weekend required. Patient ratio 1:4. No on-call required.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive teaching hospital environment with comprehensive emergency services treating all ages and acuity levels. You'll have the flexibility of variable shifts while gaining valuable experience in a well-equipped emergency department with strong interdisciplinary collaboration. Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs and your skill set, providing diverse clinical exposure. Two pre-approved time-off periods are available, and you must commit to working three of the five major holidays during the contract period.
