Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Maintain ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC compliance throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room specialty
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Resume required with submission
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of profile submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Comfort working alternating 36- and 48-hour schedule weeks in a high-volume emergency environment
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated compliance and reliability
