Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Burlington, North Carolina.
Job Description & Requirements

- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel
- 3×12-hour shifts
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Occasional: 3:00 PM–3:00 AM, as needed
- Up to every other weekend (EOW)
- Holiday coverage as needed
- No Call
Certifications - ACLS – Required
- BLS – Required
- NIHSS – Required
- PALS – Required
- STARR / Behavioral Population – Required
Required & Preferred Skills
- Respiratory: BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, central line management, starting/maintaining IVs
- Medications: Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration/monitoring
- Neurological: CVA care, ICP monitoring, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury
- Emergency/Trauma: Adult & pediatric emergency care, STEMI and stroke patients, shock/trauma, gunshot wounds, traumatic amputations, head injuries, near drowning
- Cardiac: Cardiac monitoring, emergency response, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Professional: Isolation precautions/PPE, triage
- Orthopedics: Ortho trauma
- Additional: Dysrhythmia interpretation/EKG testing
