Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment requiring MI licensure and Level I Trauma experience.

Details

• Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department, combined adult/pediatric setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• No call or float requirements
• Epic charting system preferred experience

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA)
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, NIHSS, and CPI
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience strongly recommended
• Supervisor-level references required
• Proof of flu vaccination required with consideration, or exemption submitted within 48 hours of signing

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to a combined adult and pediatric patient population in a high-acuity trauma setting
• Travelers are first to float when float coverage is needed
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the unit with no guaranteed RTO for holiday requests
• RTO limited to no more than 10 days during the assignment
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
• Previous Bronson travelers may return after 6 months; previous permanent staff may return after 1 year
