Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring MT or compact RN licensure and at least one year of ER experience.

Details

  • Critical Access Hospital setting caring for both ED and Acute Swing Bed patients
  • Combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department
  • Day and Night shifts available, each 3x12 Hours (6:15-17:45 or 17:45-6:15)
  • Cerner charting system experience required
  • No floating required unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer

Requirements

  • Active MT or Compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of ER specialty experience required
  • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
  • Cerner charting experience required
  • Skilled in triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias
  • Experience with procedural sedation administration/monitoring preferred
  • Experience in pediatric and adult emergency care including trauma, respiratory, neurological, and orthopedic conditions
  • Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line care/management
  • References required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency care across a wide range of conditions including trauma, respiratory illness, neurological injury, and behavioral health crises
  • Located in Townsend, Montana within the Big Sky/Yellowstone region
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Candidates must live within a 75-mile radius; local candidates not accepted
  • Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before eligibility
  • Background check history considered on a case-by-case basis
  • First-time travelers not accepted for this role
