Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring AZ or compact licensure and 2+ years of ER experience.

Details

  • Hospital-based Emergency Department with 22 beds
  • Patient population includes all ages, with traumas, STEMIs, psych, cardiac, GI, and stroke cases
  • Patient ratios of 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 for fast track
  • Uses Cerner EHR system
  • Evening/overnight shift from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements
  • No floating requirements

Requirements

  • Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS
  • Minimum 2+ years of ER experience required
  • Trauma and pediatric experience preferred
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Team-oriented environment seeking hard-working, resilient, and easygoing candidates
  • Scrubs of any color or print accepted; t-shirts, open-toe shoes, hoodies, and leggings not permitted
  • New hire orientation held biweekly
  • Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment pay
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
