Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with combined adult/pediatric trauma experience and travel assignment background for a night shift position.

Details

  • Combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department setting
  • Patient ratios of 1:4
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend shift required
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Standard or Compact), MD or compact license required
  • Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
  • Combined adult/pediatric ER experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, CPI
  • TNCC certification preferred
  • Experience with ICP monitoring preferred
  • Triage skills preferred
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency care across general and neurological patient populations
  • Complete pre-start and annual training modules averaging 4-6 hours, tracked through the facility's Net Learning portal
