Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Durham, NC! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to work in our Emergency Department (ER). This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Document patient care accurately in the EPIC charting system.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
At least 1 year of Behavioral Health experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications (in hand or willing to obtain during compliance).
NC or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
Flu vaccines are required; no exemptions or declinations accepted.
Traveler will be required to pass EKG/Telemetry exam onsite.

Ratios: 1:4
Weekend Requirements: Yes, every other weekend.
On-Call Requirements: No.
Floating Details: N/A
Orientation: Bi-weekly.
Scrub Color: Royal Blue.
