Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Charlottesville, VA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic Emergency Department (ER) setting, where you will provide critical care to patients in need.

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Your expertise will be vital in managing emergencies and ensuring the best outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience, with 1 year in a Level 1 trauma center or 2 years in a Level 2 trauma center, including pediatric experience.
• Current Virginia RN license (can submit with VA license pending).
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (can submit with TNCC pending but must have before start).
• Availability to work weekends and 2 out of 3 winter holidays.
• Must be flexible with scheduling; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
• Maximum of 40 hours approved for time off.
