Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Emergency Department setting with a 1:3 patient ratio
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (1845-0715)
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Potential floating to other units
- Opportunity for overtime, though not guaranteed
- No on-call requirements
- Block scheduling not accommodated
Requirements
- Active RN license (LA state or compact) required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, PALS, CPI, BLS, and TNCC (all must be AHA-issued)
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Staff may be assigned to an Emergency Team requiring extended stay at the facility during emergency events, with relief team rotation as applicable
- Royal blue scrub color required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible
