Key Responsibilities

• Serve as one of the first responders when patients are admitted to the emergency room
• Rapidly identify medical issues and assess severity upon patient arrival
• Provide immediate clinical support to minimize negative long-term effects and sustain life when necessary
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver comprehensive emergency care
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately within the EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Active Oklahoma RN state license or valid compact license
• BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• PALS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome and will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel nursing experience preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• Familiarity with Paragon or Meditech EMR systems
