Location: Issaquah, Washington
Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 13-week assignment
Highlights:
- Level II Trauma Center experience with adult and pediatric patient populations (20% pediatrics)
- 28-room Emergency Department providing care for emergent, urgent, and non-urgent conditions including chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, and injuries
- Comprehensive emergency care including ED holding, triage, and urgent care services
- Advanced procedures including chest tube management, RSI, cardioversion/defibrillation, LVAD/Impella support, and rapid infusion therapy
- Opportunity to work with diverse patient age groups from infants to geriatrics
- Holiday commitment required: must work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Requirements:
- Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
- Level II Trauma Center experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Proficiency in chest tube setup/care, TPA administration, breathing treatments, trach care, RSI drugs, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, LVAD/Impella, 12-lead EKG, and rapid infuser operation
- Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patients, central line care, continuous IV sedation, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation, phlebotomy, IV starts, and triage
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
- Clean background check required
