Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Emergency Department patients using the nursing process
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with state nursing practice standards and facility policies
• Use sound clinical judgment to anticipate patient needs and promote safe, efficient emergency care delivery
• Support care coordination and delegate patient care tasks appropriately based on team member skills and experience
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing professional development
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes in a busy ER and emergency care environment
