Join our team as an Emergency Room RN in Overland Park, KS, where your skills and dedication will make a significant impact in a leading acute-care hospital's Emergency Department. We are seeking a qualified ER Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of ER experience. First-timers are welcome to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a General Emergency Department setting, managing both adult and pediatric patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies, managing dysrhythmias and patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Administer IV therapy, including continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors, and perform phlebotomy and central line care/management.
• Utilize respiratory support techniques such as CPAP/BiPAP and care for ventilated patients.
• Implement isolation precautions and perform triage as needed.

Required Certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• PALS
• TNCC

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a STEMI Certified Facility and Stroke Certified Facility.
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and arterial line management.
• Interpretation of ABGs.

This position requires flexibility, as regular floating may be necessary between the ED Hold area, departments, units, and facilities. Local candidates are accepted, but home addresses must be at least 75 miles from the facility. There are no restrictions on time off (RTO) beyond 7 days.
