Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in an emergency room setting.

Shift Information

Schedule: Varied - 3 shifts of 12 hours each (36 hours weekly), with no guarantee of hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 28-bed emergency room department, which includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage patient care efficiently with a focus on quick patient turnover.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Hawaii is required before the start of the assignment.
• Certifications required:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Preferred certifications include Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage is required for this position. Candidates not in possession of an active State of Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance of the offer and obtain the Hawaii License prior to starting the assignment.
