We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to join a leading acute-care hospital in Olney, MD. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic Emergency Department (ER) environment, providing critical care to patients. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Comfortable working in a multi-functional department: Geriatric, Pediatric, and Psychiatric ED.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Emergency Department experience required.
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, & PALS required.
• Must have Cerner experience.
• Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Every other weekend and holiday required.
• This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine.
