Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room unit. This position offers valuable opportunities for professional growth and development in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift/Workdays: Weekend rotation required (every other weekend)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirements: Yes

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 2 years of specialty experience in a similar role
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification - Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification - Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification - Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification - Required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Certification - Required

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system is preferred

Licensure Requirements

• Active RN License required (temporary licenses will not be accepted)

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Royal Blue Scrubs
• Nail Policy: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or next-generation nails.
• Hair: Neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors; long hair must be pulled back.
• Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible; individually addressed if not feasible.
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.

Unit Guidelines and Policies

Floating within units may occur as needed. The organization’s attendance policy will be strictly followed.
