Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department. This is a contract position with night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are ready to make a difference in the lives of patients.

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegating patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available
• Providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Requirements:

• 2+ years of ER RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required

• Number of beds in unit: 12
• Patient ratio: 1:4-6
• Scrub color: any solid color
• EMR = EDIS/Medhost
• No call required
• No floating required
