Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in the Emergency Department (ED/ER). This role offers 12-hour day shifts with a rotating schedule between early and mid-day coverage, supporting a dynamic team while delivering high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications in hand at time of submission
• TNCC preferred for emergency nursing candidates
• Ability to work rotating day and mid shifts in a fast-paced ED environment
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled emergency nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and respond to patients with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support timely, effective patient care
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and support diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Document patient care accurately and maintain a high standard of clinical practice
• Prioritize multiple patients and adapt quickly to changing clinical needs in a busy ER setting
