Job Details Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Location: Tyler, Texas Start Date: 10/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Schedule: 36/48 scheduling option; 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 - $1,630 Setting: Level I Trauma Emergency Department Patient Volume: Approximately 105 visits per day Unit Size: 36 rooms / 36 beds Charting System: Epic Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred/required Travel nursing experience required Epic charting experience required ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred Ability to care for a high-acuity patient population in a fast-paced emergency department Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills Responsibilities Deliver skilled emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of diagnoses and acuity levels Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization of patient needs in a high-volume ER Stabilize and monitor trauma, medical, and pediatric patients in a Level I Trauma setting Manage dysrhythmias, IV therapy, blood products, and ventilated patients as needed Support trauma interventions including arterial line management, central line care, and procedural sedation monitoring Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and other support teams Provide compassionate, efficient care while helping maintain a safe and organized emergency department workflow Why Consider This East Texas Travel RN Opportunity?
