Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. At least 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule. Patient ratio of 5:1. Overtime available after 48 hours in one week.

• Emergency Department position in a busy trauma center with 40 beds and daily census of 90 patients
• First-time travelers welcome; 2 years of ER experience preferred
• Flexible scheduling with 36 or 48-hour weekly options
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Rapid Response Teams, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, and more
• Care for diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• 24-hour orientation with onsite module completion

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the location
• Previous facility staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
